Raise Your Children
There are far too many children being raised by children. The parents of these children are not necessarily young in age, but are young in mind. No matter your age, raise your children or the streets will raise them for you. By you not raising your children don’t wonder where you went wrong, you already know. If you truly love them stop going out here and buying their love and fake respect with material things; but teach them to be good little girls, boys, good teenagers, and then they will be good adults. Looking at the things that are going on in the world today, our young black men are dying in the streets behind BS, and the sickening part of this is that it is for absolutely nothing. Do as I have done. I’ve asked the young brothers and sisters ‘What is that I could do to make a difference?’ Each and every one of them gave me the same response: “I was told I don’t know”….This, my people is sad, sad, sad. I like to think that I did not fail them in my display of life. I speak to the young brothers and sisters at every giving opportunity and I won’t give up. We need to be walking billboards for our children, surround them with positive things, and speak truth to them. Tell them what life is really about and how they can be successful. If you are your child’s friend then that is the wrong position; they need a real mom and a real dad, not just some friend. Trust me, they have enough of them. I blame some parents for not taking the right position in the village, thus causing a division with our children. Fix it people fix it, before it is too late.
