It Does Matter

It Does Matter

I had a strong, young, intelligent lady say to me: “This and that don’t really matter, because you can’t change it.” Some things that we go through in life we feel that it was just because for no reason at all and there’s nothing that can be done to change it. I told the young lady that she was looking at life wrong’ no matter what you go through, good or bad it does matter. It changes the way you will handle situations, how you will evaluate things before deciding on them. Each endeavor brings a revaluation of knowledge. I can’t tell anyone that sometimes the growing don’t hurt, I can tell everyone that the knowledge gained is priceless. If you hold close to you what you’ve learned, you will be a phenomenal person. Take the time to listen to the past so that you can brighten your future. I feel that we, the older generation, are responsible for the younger generations. At each given opportunity we MUST stop to hear them and really listen to them, and share our knowledge with them. The truth is what they are really looking for so don’t sugar coat it. While you may think they aren’t listening, they are. Make what you have to say matter. Teach the village.
